The Other Modern Movement offers a counterpoint to aestheticisation of gratuitous form by critically examining how programmatically-inflected typology and textured tectonic expression can foster formal diversity that embodies design integrity. The volume examines work that while belonging to the Modern Movement also occupied a parallel course to the more widely recognized proponents of that movement.
